About

Minimus Vocal Ensemble

Minimus Vocal Ensemble was founded in 2010. Dedicated to a cappella singing, the ensemble's repertoire centres on Renaissance music and 20th–21st century works inspired by the spirit of early music.

Minimus frequently takes part in projects related to historically informed performance of early music. The ensemble collaborates with young composers and has premiered several a cappella choral works.

The ensemble performs throughout Poland, placing great emphasis on artistic excellence and thoughtfully conceived concert dramaturgy.

The singers have been associated for many years with Poznań's finest choirs, including the Poznań Nightingales of Stefan Stuligrosz, the Musica Viva Choir, and the Poznań Chamber Choir. The artistic director of the ensemble is Sławomira Raczyńska, a graduate of the Poznań Academy of Music.
