Sławomira Raczyńska

Sławomira Raczyńska graduated with distinction from the Academy of Music in two specialties: Choral Conducting in the class of Prof. Marek Gandecki and Baroque Oboe in the class of Marek Niewiedział. She won 2nd prize at the 12th National Choral Conducting Competition (2008).

Since 2010 she has been the conductor of the Canticum Novum choir and a teacher and conductor at the Poznań Choral School. That same year she founded Minimus Vocal Ensemble, where she serves as artistic director.

Sławomira Raczyńska also plays the baroque oboe, continually deepening her knowledge of historically informed performance of early music. She has collaborated with conductors such as Philippe Herreweghe, Paul Esswood, Paul McCreesh, Władysław Kłosiewicz, Ryszard Zimiak, Marcin Sompoliński, and ensembles: the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense, and the Polish XVIII Century Orchestra.

Since 2012 she has also been a member of the early instruments ensemble Nostravaganza.
