Composer
Marek
Raczyński
Marek Raczyński is a young generation composer primarily associated with the choral milieu. He is the author of many a cappella choral works that are in the permanent repertoire of ensembles worldwide. His output also includes vocal-instrumental works, chamber instrumental forms, and numerous arrangements.
Marek Raczyński owes his first contact with music to Prof. Stefan Stuligrosz, in whose “Poznań Nightingales” he performed for over a decade. He developed his musical sensitivity and knowledge of choral literature by performing in choirs in Poland and Germany.
He perfected his compositional craft at the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, completing Postgraduate Composition Studies in the class of Prof. Paweł Łukaszewski.
